Get to know your ACE State Representative. He/she is responsible or coordinating ACE activities and membership recruitment in your state, and is a great resource for ACE information. When in doubt, contact your rep!
Show us your stuff. Enter your best work in the ACE Critique and Awards program. There are categories for everything from magazines and videos, to feature story writing and photography. Entries are due January 31.
Take advantage of the numerous professional development opportunities
offered by the Learning Communities and at the Annual Conference. Also
share your expertise by volunteering to present your knowledge through
one of these venues.
Follow your leaders. The ACE Board consists of four officers (Vice President, President-elect, President and Past President), six directors in charge of different areas (Marketing, Membership, Professional Development, Research, SIGs and Retirees), as well as a Treasurer (ex-officio) and Executive Director. When elected, officers take the position of vice president and work their way up the ranks, serving on the board for four years. Directors serve their first year as a non-voting director-elect, followed by two years as director for a total of three years on the board.
